You’re Invited
Beginning June 1, 2024, a group of believers will be walking once a week in their own neighborhoods. We will be be praying for personal repentance and for repentance on behalf of our city. We will be praying for spiritual unity among all the believers of the city so that salvation will come. Let’s let our light shine.
Passionate prayers not only change the world, they have a way of transforming the people who pray.
How It Works
Each person will claim a “neighborhood” and then invite one or two other people to prayer walk with them once-per-week for the month of June. You will be provided with prayer walking guides, invited to our launch prayer walk at Central Park, and you will be invited to a mid-month gathering where we will share testimonies of what God is doing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can’t find someone to prayer walk with me?
If it is safe to prayer walk alone in your neighborhood, then you can still claim your neighborhood and prayer walk on your own. If it is not safe, let us know and we may be able to go with you (or you could drive and pray!).
What is considered a “neighborhood”?
Think of a neighborhood as a space you feel God has intentionally placed you. That might be your office, your gym, the neighborhood where you live, etc.
What if I can’t make it to the launch at central park?
We’d love to have you there with us, but totally understand. You are still invited to use the downloadable prayer guide that we will provide to prayer walk your neighborhood.
About Us
This was a vision that God had given Donna.
Years ago, God put it on Donna’s heart to see a movement of people prayer walking neighborhoods, beginning in Santa Clarita, but spreading far beyond.
The prayer network is lead by Donna with resources and support from NOVO Santa Clarita.
Every Christian church is invited to join in this city-wide effort to cover our city in prayer.
1000 Neighborhoods is simply a month long event to encourage people to prayer walk their neighborhoods. You are invited to join with us to see what God might do!
